Land Rover Austin is excited to announce Land Rover’s partnership with the Event Masters Equestrian Series!
The fourth leg of the Event Masters Series was held July 15-16 at Haras de Jardy, near Paris, France. During the event Land Rover transported personnel to and from their designated locations.
“Land Rover has long been synonymous with equestrian sport – in particular Eventing – so this is a natural progression for us to join forces with the Event Rider Masters,” Mark Cameron, Jaguar Land Rover Experiential Marking Director, said. “The Event Rider Masters series is an exciting and innovative competition, but at the same time is hasn’t lost any of the heritage and traditional values of the sport. At Land Rover, we completely relate to this concept – we star a love for innovation balanced with tradition and are excited to come on board at such an early stage.”
The 2016 season was the first season for the Event Rider Masters and featured six legs in the United Kingdom. This season, the series has seven legs with competitions with five legs in the United Kingdom and two in Germany and France respectively. The winning rider will win 400,000 pounds.
In 2016, the Event Rider Masters series champion title went to Britain native Oliver Townend. Jonelle Price from New Zealand won second and Paul Tapner from Australia won third.
“The Event Rider Masters is a really exciting new concept for eventing and it is great news that Land Rover has partnered the event given their long-term involvement with the sport,” Zara Tindall, event rider and Land Rover ambassador, said. “The innovative format and involvement of the leading riders will hopefully attract new audiences around the world.”
Zara Tindall recently won third place at the Land Rover supported Rolex Kentucky Three-Day Event.
Land Rover Austin is so excited about this new partnership and how Land Rover was able to assist in France last weekend.
